Birdhouse Educational Services was born in early 2023 when Sarah Birdsall-Kulick responded to two local moms on social media who were seeking out a French tutor for their children. After leaving the classroom in 2021 to raise her infant daughter, Sarah still felt a strong connection to the world of education and knew that her absence would not be a permanent one. 

Thus began her entry into the world of working one-on-one with students to deepen their knowledge of French language and culture while providing guided practice, authentic tasks, and engaging activities. 

In addition to her passion for French language and culture, Sarah also holds a keen ability to guide high school students in their next steps, whether it is college or career. She has helped countless students with the college selection and application process, edited and revised hundreds of admissions essays, and proudly contributed to the success of many graduates in achieving their dreams for their future. She continues to aid students with their plans by preparing unique and strategized preparation approaches with proven results. 

Sarah thrives on coaching students and their families with the big decisions related to college selection, the full application process, financial aid searches, and final steps related to college acceptance and enrollment.

Sarah is a longtime resident of Naperville and resides with her husband Joe, daughters Chloe & Clara, and lovable rescue dog Henri. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.
